The hotel location was spot on. Breakfast was amazing. The room was clean and comfortable, I didn't sleep very well, but that's my own 'issues', I like my own bed. Aircon isn't switched on in March, and the heating is automatically switched on, and can't turn it off or down. I struggled with this as I got too hot in the night. I couldn't open the window as the noise from the street would have kept me awake. Staff were super friendly. Bad points: I ordered a taxi from the hotel to the airport (via the hotel as i was concerned about using public transport in case i missed the flight). I arrived and it wasn't there, 10 minutes later it still hadn't arrived. I was told I had given reception a different time. I knew I hadn't, but I thought maybe it was the language barrier. The taxi arrived over an hour later. There was no communication between the staff and myself. I was just left to wait outside on the pavement and had to go inside and ask for updates. When the taxi eventually arrived, his phone was in the phone holder, and I could see the time that was given was the time I had originally booked. I didn't like that they tried to blame me, when it was not my error. It wasn't even their error, it was the taxi's, but that whole situation would put me off from booking again. Other than that, the hotel, food, and staff were amazing.

The entry to the hotel was not typical at all. This building was built in the 1600's as a family residence. The outside door was on a busy alley. However, it seemed like a safe area. You pressed a button on a panel to enter the hotel. There was a very small elevator to transport your bags to the lobby area. We arrived early and the receptionist offered to store our bags until our room was ready. The room was ready early, and the porter brought our bags to our room for us. When we needed a taxi, the front desk was very helpful in ordering it for us. The staff was helpful and gracious. The breakfast was probably typical of an Italian breakfast. The eggs (scrambled and boiled)were not hot and the coffee was small cup amounts, but you could get as many cups as you desired. They also had juice, milk, croissants, deli style meat, fruit, bread, cereal and various small pick-up items. The room and bathroom was clean but very small. The bed was harder than I prefer. The pillows were pretty flat, but you could get as many as you needed. The room had a TV, small fridge and a closet. The bath had a small shower only and a toilet and bidet and sink. The hotel was very close to the Pantheon and the Basilica S. Maria sopra Minerva...which both are worth seeing. It is also close to many shops and restaurants.

Central location most everything you want to see is in walking distance. Francesca did the most amazing breakfast she went above and beyond to make everyones breakfast top notch. The bacon was absolutely GORGEOUS !! and she told us about the history of the hotel being a listed building she even made sure we had a breakfast on our last morning so we wouldn't go on our journey on an empty stomach, THANK YOU Francesca !! Thanks to Viru and his colleagues in reception all very helpful and always smiling !! and not forgetting the cleaning staff. our room was always immaculate when we came from a long and lovely day out walking our socks off. The room always smelt lovely and everything was very clean. The shower was heaven too. Not forgetting Viru for upgrading our room so we had a little balcony which we used everyday and also a lovely roof terrace where you could see the stunning statues of Piazza Venizia and the dome of the Pantheon. We would ABSOLUTELY stay there again. A shout out to the lift just like something in an old movie :) Thank you ALL there is no where else my wife and I would have rather been to celebrate her 60th birthday xx

The hotel is old world charm with modern features. Four levels of stairs, but the lift was wonderful and handy. The location was superb and convenient. Everything we wished to visit was in walking distance, except for St.Peters and Vatican Museum which are on the other side of the river, but accessible via other means of transport. The included breakfast was excellent, a fantastic range of food options and the lady that was on-site was so friendly and accomodating. Our room was on level 4 and consisted of two separate rooms with a double bed in each to accommodate four people. Very spacious room with everything we needed.

Carmela

located right behind the Pantheon and next to the St Mary of Minerva's Church. Right smack in the center of all the action and a 20-30 min walk to all major sightseeing spots. They serve buffet style Italian breakfast every morning and would get us on the right foot for all of our daily adventures. Even on the day we would be leaving early to catch the Pope's mass they packed us a breakfast box to go. The staff were there 24/7 and where all very kind. Our room was small for a family of five adults, but it served the purpose we needed it for. Hard when we could only use one bathroom.
